As an Operations Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring every element of a booking is accurate, and all travel documents are prepared and dispatched on time—whether for an Arctic adventure in Norway or a tropical escape to Borneo. Job Purpose
To support the Sales and Client Services teams with administrative, operational, and service tasks. You will quality-check bookings and documentation, liaise with suppliers, and ensure all travel arrangements are accurate, timely, and tailored to client needs.
Job Description:
* Process bookings with attention to detail, ensuring timelines, accuracy, and quality control standards are met. Identify and resolve discrepancies. Liaise with suppliers and clients as required by the sales/client services teams.
* Communicate with suppliers and clients to support the sales and client services process.
* Handle minor schedule changes, inform clients, and update bookings accordingly.
* Compile travel documents such as itineraries, vouchers, invoices, confirmations, ATOL certificates, and guidance notes.
* Maintain up-to-date records of customer preferences (e.g., dietary needs, allergies) and share this information with suppliers.
This role is full-time, working Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm, based in the Bristol office. Hybrid working is available, with a minimum of two days in the office per week.
