Nestled in the idyllic countryside of Suffolk, the beautiful Ickworth Hotel is seeking a talented and dedicated Restaurant Manager to join our team.
Position Overview:
As the Restaurant Manager, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure high standards of service, and contribute to the hotel's success. The ideal candidate will have proven restaurant management experience, a passion for customer service, and leadership skills.
This is a fixed-term contract from July to December, 40 hours per week over 5 days (including weekends), with an annual salary of £28,000 plus service charge.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and lead the restaurant team, including hiring, supervising, rota organization, payroll, staff training, and performance evaluations.
* Enhance the guest dining experience by creating an attentive, memorable environment, collaborating with the culinary team, and addressing guest concerns promptly.
* Oversee daily operations, manage budgets, control costs, monitor stock and equipment, and uphold health and safety regulations, working closely with hotel management.
Candidate Requirements:
• Proven experience in restaurant management (minimum 2 years).
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a focus on team development.
• Knowledge of industry trends, food safety standards, and a passion for hospitality.
