Role: Employee Experience Ambassador
Salary: £29,000-£32,000 per annum depending on experience
Location: Edinburgh based with travel required across all NWH Group locations.

Due to continued growth, we are now looking for an Employee Experience Support to join our HR services.
This role will focus on supporting and improving the employee experience across the business. Working closely with employees, drivers, operational teams and managers, you will play a key role in building positive working relationships, supporting employee engagement and helping to create a strong workplace culture across all NWH Group sites.
This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You will be required to travel to sites across Scotland and the North East of England, acting as a visible and approachable support for employees throughout the business.
Job Activities
1. Acting as a key point of contact for employees across the business
2. Supporting positive employee relations and engagement initiatives
3. Building strong relationships with drivers, operational staff and office teams
4. Supporting managers with employee concerns and people related matters
5. Assisting with investigations, welfare support and employee meetings
6. Supporting onboarding and maintaining regular contact with new starters
7. Helping identify trends and areas for improvement within employee experience
8. Promoting company values, policies and procedures across all sites
9. Supporting appraisals, feedback meetings and employee development conversations
10. Supporting wellbeing and learning initiatives throughout the business
11. Occasionally travel between NWH Group locations to provide face to face support
Knowledge and Skills Required
12. Previous experience within HR, Employee Relations or Employee Engagement
13. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
14. Strong organisation and problem-solving abilities
15. A professional and confidential approach
16. Ability to work independently and use initiative
17. A good understanding of UK Employment Law
18. Full UK driving licence
19. Willingness to travel regularly to all company sites
20. Previous experience within transport, logistics or operational environments would be beneficial
21. CIPD qualification or working towards CIPD would be advantageous
