Your Mission
As a Paid Content Creator you will be at the forefront of our paid advertising strategy, creating highâperforming shortâform ads that drive customer engagement and conversions. You'll design compelling video creatives for Meta, TikTok, and Google, optimising content for different platforms and placements.
This role is a blend of strategy and execution, where you'll stay ahead of trends in the advertising industry, working with strategists and analysts to ensure our ads remain fresh, engaging, and resultsâdriven. You'll work closely with our brand team to maintain a strong, consistent voice while continually testing, learning, and iterating based on performance insights.
Shoot days are jamâpacked and fastâpaced, so efficiency is key for capturing and building a strong library of content. Your creativity will be instrumental in bringing our campaigns to lifeâwhether you're directing actors, inâhouse talent or members of the public. Back at the desk, you'll manage your own edits, delivering multiple assets on time ready to be used in our campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
* Create highâperforming shortâform video ads for Meta, TikTok, and Google.
* Plan and attend shoot days, capturing and building a strong library of content.
* Design creatives in various dimensions and formats, optimised for different placements.
* Understand the difference between organic and paid contentâand how to tailor accordingly.
* Stay ahead of trends in the ad industry, bringing fresh, insightâbacked ideas.
* Monitor content performance and make dataâdriven recommendations.
* Use tools like Motion (or be willing to learn!) to analyse and iterate.
* Collaborate closely with the Brand team to maintain onâbrand, compelling content.
Requirements
What Youâll Bring
* Experience creating paid social ads that convert (especially Meta, TikTok and Google).
* A strong understanding of the difference between organic content and performanceâled ads.
* A proactive approachâplugged into trends and whatâs working across platforms.
* Ability to design across multiple dimensions (stories, reels, feed, YouTube Shorts, banners, etc.).
* Confident in storyboarding and shootingâ with or without direct supervision.
* Experience reviewing creative using tools like Motion or similar (desirable but not essential).
* Proficient using basic videoâediting platforms (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Canva, etc.).
* Proficient using video and audio equipment (iPhone, DSLR, mics, etc.).
* A fastâpaced, highâenergy mindset, with a drive to test, learn, and iterate quickly.
Bonus points if you⊠(desirable but not essential)
* Have worked in pet, wellness, or DTC eâcommerce.
* Are confident appearing on camera.
* Can create static ads as well as video.
* Understand UGCâstyle ads and can recreate them natively.
* Have a passion for dogsâor even have your own!
