Senior Residential Children’s Worker
Contract: Full-time, permanent

We’re recruiting an experienced and motivated Senior Residential Children’s Worker / Team Leader to join a well‑established children’s home in Blaenau Gwent. This is a key leadership role where you’ll support the day‑to‑day running of the home, ensuring high standards of care, compliance and team development.
You’ll be supporting young people with emotional, behavioural and social difficulties (ESBD) in a trauma‑informed, nurturing and aspirational environment.

Leading shifts to ensure safety, structure and high-quality care
Delivering staff supervisions, mentoring and supporting new staff
Contributing to placement plans, risk assessments and behaviour support strategies
QCF Level 3 Children & Young People
Minimum 1 year as a Senior/Team Leader in a registered children’s home (ESBD)
Strong understanding of safeguarding, trauma, attachment and challenging behaviour
Confident with supervision, performance management and quality monitoring
Full UK driving licence (registration with Social Care Wales preferred)
