We are currently recruiting for a Finance Admin Assistant to join a busy college environment in Rotherham on a temporary 3-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in finance administration while contributing to a supportive and fast-paced team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with financial administration tasks, including data entry, invoice processing, and payment tracking.
* Support account reconciliation and maintain accurate financial records.
* Handle queries from suppliers, clients, and internal teams, ensuring timely resolution.
* Prepare and maintain spreadsheets, reports, and documentation.
* Assist with month-end and year-end finance processes.
* Carry out general administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and correspondence.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in finance, accounts, or administration is desirable.
* Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
