At East Boro, our Domiciliary Care and Support Team works flexibly with adults to enable them to live as independently as possible in their own homes.
As a Support Worker, you’ll provide care and assistance that helps people remain independent and live life to the fullest. This could include supporting with daily living tasks, such as:
* Medication support
* Shopping and healthy meal preparation
* Cleaning and maintaining a safe home environment
* Support with correspondence or job applications
* Encouraging fun activities, including day trips and social events
You’ll also provide personal care where needed, such as:
* Assisting with washing, bathing, and hair/oral care
* Helping with dressing, toileting, and safe disposal of waste
* Meal preparation and support with eating/drinking
* Supporting with mobility, transfers, or hoisting

About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
* Compassionate, patient, and reliable
* Able to communicate well with colleagues and customers
* Capable of basic literacy and numeracy tasks
* Ideally experienced in a caring role (though training is provided)
You will also need to:
* Pass a DBS check (or be on the update service)
* Verify your right to work in the UK (please note, EBHT/Aster Group is not a sponsorship organisation)
It’s a bonus if you have experience working with adults with physical, learning, or mental health disabilities and providing personal care.
