We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Liverpool to assist with the appointment of a Senior Change Manager, on a 6-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £26.30 - £34.90 per hour
Responsibilities:
* Support the Transformation Team by embedding effective change management methodologies, tools, and approaches across all transformation programmes.
* Deliver training, coaching, and mentoring on change management to Programme Managers, Project Managers, and Project Support Officers.
* Provide direct input into programmes and projects, and help identify when additional change management resources are needed.
* Work with the PMO team to integrate change management practices into project and programme frameworks.
* Support the development of organisational capability in change management, particularly within the wider leadership team.
* Help prepare and guide the organisation through the transition to a more embedded and consistent change management model.
Requirements:
* A recognised Change Management qualification (e.g., Prosci, APMG) or equivalent practical experience.
* Proven experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder change programmes within the public sector.
* Strong knowledge of change management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
* Experience coaching and mentoring senior leaders and peers to support effective change delivery.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.
* Highly self-motivated and organised, with a strategic mindset and the ability to drive initiatives independently.
