Hays Senior Finance are working with a US-owned manufacturing company with a £40m+ UK turnover. This is a dynamic and growing manufacturing company, part of a larger group with multiple sales channels and divisions across the UK. They have innovative products and a commitment to excellence evidenced by significant R&D investment. We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to lead the team in Warrington.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the preparation of management accounts and financial accounts
* Maintain close monitoring of industrial KPIs
* Lead budgeting and forecasting processes
* Supervision of cash flow forecasts and debt collection
* Manage and develop the finance team of four
* Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to senior management
* Preparation of the annual budget and 3-year plan and regular year end re-forecasting
* Act as a business partner to various departments, providing financial guidance and support
* Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards
* Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems
Qualifications:
* Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
* Proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment is preferable.
* Strong knowledge of management accounts, financial accounts, budgeting, and forecasting
* Excellent team management and leadership skills
* Proficiency in variance analysis and business partnering
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
