We are currently looking for Electro-Mechanical Technicians to join a leading manufacturing company based in Crawley.
This hands-on role involves the build and assembly of special purpose machinery, including mechanical fitting, electrical wiring, and working to tight tolerances.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build and assemble various types of special purpose machinery and sub-assemblies from scratch
* Perform precision mechanical fitting and assembly work
* Carry out point-to-point wiring, cable crimping, and termination
* Use a range of hand tools (spanners, screwdrivers, ratchet sets) and power tools
* Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
* Utilize measuring equipment such as Verniers and Micrometers
* Experience with vacuum systems is advantageous
* Ability to work to very tight tolerances
* Previous experience in building complex machinery is essential
