JOB TITLE - Support and Application Engineer
LOCATION - Milton Keynes
SALARY - Up to £35,000
ABOUT THE SUPPORT AND APPLICATION ENGINEER:
This role is a technically focussed, customer-facing engineering position that supports advanced mapping and perception technologies, such as LiDAR, inertial navigation, and georeferencing software. It offers an opportunity to deepen technical expertise or develop new skills while working closely with customers across the UK.
Provide pre- and post-sales technical support, including handling RMAs.
Support and demonstrate hardware and software solutions (LiDAR, perception software, etc.).
Manage proof-of-concept projects through to delivery.
Maintain a support ticketing system and contribute to marketing through demos and data collection.
ABOUT YOU
Technical Customer Support: Previous experience in providing technical customer support.
Knowledge of Linux (particularly docker) and networking.
LiDAR sensors and understanding of 3D point clouds.
MQTT experience.
Knowledge of inertial navigation and Georeferencing.
Robotics applications exposure.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, essential for effectively defining issues and supporting customers.
