We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a delightful little boy in Year 2 at a welcoming primary school in Helston. This is a truly rewarding opportunity to support a child’s learning, communication, and emotional development in a nurturing school environment.
Knowledge of BSL (ideally Level 2 or 3) or Makaton is highly desirable and will be a huge advantage in supporting this pupil's communication needs.

Experience working with SEND children, whether in a classroom, small group, or 1:1 setting
Knowledge of continuous provision and the EYFS curriculum
A calm, caring and consistent approach, with excellent communication skills
Resilience and adaptability to meet children’s changing needs throughout the school day
A valid DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
