The Role
As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering technically robust and commercially focused solutions across a range of projects.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
* Leading ground investigations and supervising site works
* Interpreting geotechnical data and producing factual and interpretative reports
* Undertaking geotechnical design (foundations, retaining walls, slope stability, earthworks)
* Managing projects from tender through to delivery
* Liaising with clients and providing technical advice
* Mentoring and supporting junior engineers
Senior roles typically involve project ownership and client interaction alongside technical delivery.
Requirements
* Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Engineering Geology or similar
* Typically 5+ years experience in a consultancy or contractor environment
* Strong experience in geotechnical design and reporting
* Experience managing projects and client relationships
* Working towards or holding Chartered status (ICE/GeolSoc)
* Full UK driving licence
