The Turing School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Individual Needs Assistant to join our thriving team.
This role will require being able to support with Braille.
As an Individual Needs Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in supporting students with special educational needs, both within and outside the classroom. This involves:
• Providing tailored one-to-one and small group support to students, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their learning goals.
• Assisting teachers in adapting materials and activities to meet individual student requirements.
• Fostering a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere, promoting student independence, and building their confidence.
• Working closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to monitor student progress and implement effective support strategies.
• Supporting students with social, emotional, and behavioural development.
