EYFS Teaching Assistant – SEN Support Opportunities (September Start)
Location: Local Schools | Competitive Pay | Flexible Working Available
Teaching Personnel is currently working closely with several primary schools in the Bolton area who are preparing for an increased demand in SEN support within their Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) settings this coming September. As a result, we are recruiting passionate and dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistants to support this growing need.
There are multiple opportunities available, with roles ranging from full-time and part-time positions to short-term, long-term, and flexible day-to-day supply work. Whether you're looking to secure a consistent placement or prefer the flexibility to fit work around other commitments, we can help find a role that works for you.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children, ideally within an EYFS classroom or nursery environment, and be confident supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN). You may be working with children on the autism spectrum, those with communication or speech and language difficulties, or pupils requiring additional 1:1 support.
We are looking for individuals who are caring, patient, and enthusiastic, with a genuine passion for supporting early learning and development. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is required (or willingness to apply), and relevant Level 2 or 3 qualifications in childcare or teaching support are highly desirable.
In return, we offer a competitive rate of pay, paid weekly, along with dedicated support from your own consultant. You’ll also have the opportunity to gain valuable experience across a range of supportive and welcoming schools, with the potential to secure longer-term or permanent roles if desired.
If you’re ready to make a positive impact this September and support young learners at the very start of their journey, we’d love to hear from you.
