Finance sector
What you will do:
1. Lead test activities for UI‑centric applications across multiple finance domains.
2. Define, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts in line with the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Test Framework Standards (STFS).
3. Run and optimise SQL/Oracle queries to validate data‑driven test scenarios.
4. Identify, document, and clearly articulate defects, root‑cause analyses, and remediation recommendations.
5. Mentor junior testers and act as a technical/functional point of contact for testing teams.
6. Collaborate with product owners, developers, and business analysts to ensure test coverage aligns with business requirements.
7. Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives, driving higher quality and faster delivery.
Skills and Experience:
8. Strong background in finance (banking, capital markets, payments, etc.)
9. Advanced SQL/Oracle query writing for data verification
10. Experience testing across multiple business domains (e.g., back‑office, compliance)
11. Proven ability to lead test efforts, mentor peers, or manage test teams
12. Deep understanding of testing life‑cycle phases and compliance with STFS
13. Exposure to Selenium, Cypress, or similar UI automation tools
14. Computer Science degree optional; extensive hands‑on testing experience required
15. Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
16. Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
17. Demonstrated long‑term tenure in previous organisations, showing stability and value‑add.
18. Ability to work autonomously within a distributed EMEA team.
