We are looking for dedicated and adaptable aspiring/ experienced Tutors to work with learners across the Isle of Wight. Our students range from primary age to post-16, and many require alternative provision to thrive. As a Tutor, you will: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging sessions that meet the needs of students. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential. Record student progress and report on this weekly. Be understanding, empathetic and patient. Record attendance. Be organised, dependable and creative. Be calm, fair and adaptable.About you: Nurturing and caring nature Patient, kind and understanding Strong understanding of the National Curriculum Organised Comfortable to support secondary aged pupils with English, Maths and possibly Science too or comfortable to Mentor young people. Essential & Desirable Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of experience working within UK schools- ESSENTIAL Experience of working with learners with SEN/SEMH needs To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must: Hold right to work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide references upon request Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
