Partner – Public Family Law Location: Lancashire (Office-based with flexibility) The Opportunity This is a fantastic opportunity for a Partner-level Solicitor to join and lead a Public Law Family Team. In this key leadership role, you’ll support the Head of Department in delivering the firm’s strategic goals, managing team performance and providing exceptional legal services. This is a unique opportunity to both lead a high-performing team and manage your own complex caseload while contributing to the long-term success and expansion of a Public Family Law department. Key Responsibilities Family Solicitor to lead, manage and develop the Public Family Law team Drive strategic growth and ensure key financial and performance indicators are met Manage your own complex caseload, including advocacy in Family Courts Provide mentorship, coaching and day-to-day support to team members Build strong client and referrer relationships to support business development Ensure compliance with all regulatory, legal and internal standards About You We’re seeking a confident and accomplished Family Solicitor. 8 years PQE in Public Family Law, with expertise in care proceedings and Legal Aid work Membership of the Children’s Panel (or willingness to obtain) A proven track record in team leadership, business development and managing performance Strong advocacy experience and the ability to manage complex, sensitive cases Excellent communication, client care and IT skills Alignment with our core values: authenticity, exceptional results and teamwork Why Join?
