As a Deputy Room Leader, you will support the Room Leader in overseeing the day-to-day running of your room, ensuring high-quality care and learning experiences for children of all ages..
This full-time permanent role offers salary range of £27, - £29, and benefits.
You will be responsible for:
1. Assisting in planning and delivering the EYFS curriculum and learning activities
2. Supervising, mentoring, and supporting staff within the room
3. Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of all children
4. Maintaining a stimulating, clean, and organised learning environment
5. Building positive, trusting relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
6. Leading activities and routines in the absence of the Room Leader
What we are looking for
7. Previously worked as a Deputy Room Leader, Third in Charge, Senior Nursery Practitioner or in a similar role.
8. Prior experience in an Early Years setting.
9. Knowledge of the current Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is beneficial
10. Passionate, motivated, and adaptable with the ability to work effectively in a team
11. Current and clean DBS certificate
