The Role
As FPGA Manager, you will take ownership of digital design activity across the company’s product portfolio. This position combines hands-on engineering with leadership and strategic influence. You will oversee the full development lifecycle, from requirements capture and architecture through to design, verification and integration, ensuring best practice, efficiency and high-quality delivery.
You will mentor and inspire a team of engineers at varying levels, setting direction, allocating resources effectively and building a high-performance culture. In addition to the technical responsibilities, you will collaborate with senior stakeholders to influence system-level architecture and guide the long-term technology roadmap.
Candidate Requirements
A degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field
Extensive experience in FPGA design and development
A proven track record in leading teams or managing significant technical programmes
A strong knowledge of the full hardware development lifecycle from concept through to validation and test
Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
A solid understanding of FPGA design methodologies and workflows
The Package
Salary up to £85,000 depending on experience
