Are you looking for a varied role where no two days are the same? We are seeking a Leisure Assistant to work in our amazing spa here at Shrigley Hall. This role would involve all departments in the spa from greeting guests at reception, to serving our guests in the café and bar, ensuring the pool and leisure areas are clean and tidy.
Housed in an extravagant historic mansion, The Shrigley Hall Hotel and Spa enjoys a quiet location with breath-taking views across the Peak District National Park and the Shrigley golf course. The Shrigley Hall Hotel is situated in the quaint village of Shrigley, near Macclesfield in Cheshire and offers 148 elegant bedrooms
As a Leisure Assistant your main duties include:
* Ensuring excellent & professional guest service is consistently provided at all times.
* Ensuring that health and safety & all procedures are adhered to.
* Undertaking general Spa and Leisure duties.
* Providing a helpful and friendly service to guests on the reception.
* Communicating & liaising with team members within the operation.
* Providing general assistance with cleaning in all areas, as directed.
* Being aware and understanding all relevant company guidelines & policies.
* To undertake other duties as required and outlined by the Senior Manager on shift.
* Regularly test the pools chlorine & PH levels
* Regularly treat the pools with the appropriate chemicals
* Keep the pools free of debris
* Open and close the facility to guests
* Conduct Health & Safety administrative duties for the pools
* Oversee swimmers safety
* Ensure the robes and slippers are laundered in an efficient manner
This role will require some flexible working, as the spa is open from 6.30am – 9.30pm including weekends.
