An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Promoting Safe Services (PSS) Team for a Clinical In-Reach and Training Manager.
As part of the Promoting Safe Services (PSS) management team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the training team to ensure delivery of essential, high-quality training programmes designed to
prevent and safely manage behaviours that challenge within clinical services.
There will be a focus on expanding the delivery of PSS training to external agencies which will require the post holder to develop positive working relationships with external partners.

The post holder will be required to demonstrate that they are able to uphold KMPT Trust values at all times, representing the organisation in a number of external forums.
The post holder will work clinically with MDT teams supporting individual patients that present with dysregulated, distressed and harmful behaviours through a positive behaviour framework.
There will be a focus on reducing restrictive practices whilst providing expert advice, practical leadership and coaching on strategies that can enhance the lives of the people we support.
The post holder must hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car/vehicle to use for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).

To provide specialist professional and clinical advice to multi-professional teams who highlight that they are working with patients exhibiting complex behaviours/needs and/or dysregulation, with a clear focus on working collaboratively with staff and patients to achieve positive patient outcomes.
To promote a culture of inclusion, equality and diversity, reflecting the best interests of both patients and staff.
To work with the PSS Service Manager in maintaining national BILD ACT accreditation and ensure all training adheres to legislation, national guidance and policy.
To continually monitor, review and evaluate all training programmes delivered by the PSS team to all teams across the organisation.
