We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bid Manager to join our pre-sales team. Specialising in staff recruitment, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in creating compelling and persuasive bid responses that effectively communicate our company's value proposition to prospective clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bid management, having operated in UK public and private sectors.

Key Responsibilities

* Write clear, concise, and persuasive content for bid responses, ensuring alignment with client objectives and bid evaluation criteria, particularly public sector clients. Write compelling responses that directly answer the question.
* Work closely with subject matter experts to gather technical information and incorporate it into bid responses, with a particular focus on staffing procedures such as IR35 and GDPR.
* Review and edit bid responses to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance with instructions and formatting requirements.
* Conduct thorough research on prospective clients, their requirements, and the competitive landscape to tailor bid responses accordingly, emphasising staff recruitment strategies.
* Support the management of multiple bids simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and ensuring the quality and accuracy of bid submissions.
* Support the maintenance of the library of reusable content and templates for future bid responses, using tooling such as Copilot to gather information for responses.
* Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements relevant to bid writing, especially those impacting staff recruitment and contingent labour.
* Provide support for other pre-sales activities as needed, such as drafting proposals and statements of work for IT services engagements.

Skills and experience:

* Proven experience in managing bids, particularly within the UK public sector, with a focus on staff recruitment and contingent labour.
* Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and persuasive arguments.
* Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and translate them into clear, concise language.
* Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
* Familiarity with bid management software and tools (e.g., Tussell, Stotles) is preferred
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Experience in IT services or related industries is an advantage.
