About the Role • Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Reception pupil with Autism. • Support the childs academic development and engagement with learning. • Assist the pupil during morning sessions on a part-time timetable. • Provide general classroom support within Reception during the afternoons. • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement effective support strategies. Requirements • Previous experience supporting children with Autism and additional needs is essential. • SEN qualification or relevant training is desirable. • Strong spoken and written English skills. • Proactive, energetic and confident approach to supporting young learners. • Ability to build positive relationships and promote pupil independence. • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
