Job Title: Boat Refit Manager Location: Portland Marina Salary: £45,000 - £52,000+ (DOE) plus performance-related bonuses Sector: Leisure & Commercial Marine Overview: We are recruiting an experienced Boat Refit Manager for a busy marine operation at Portland Marina. This is a hands-on leadership role, managing refit and repair projects on vessels up to 24m, while leading a skilled technical team. The successful candidate will combine technical knowledge with strong commercial and project management skills, ensuring high-quality delivery and excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee refit and repair projects from quotation through to completion. Lead and motivate multi-disciplinary technical teams, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and managing expectations. Interpret drawings, specifications, and survey reports accurately. Ensure projects are delivered on budget and schedule, with commercial awareness of profitability. Maintain high professional standards and enforce quality control throughout the yard. Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, systems, and team performance.
