We’re supporting a brilliant specialist school in South Tyneside who are looking for an energetic, active Teaching Assistant to join their SEND team this September. Your role will include:
5. Supporting pupils with SEND in PE lessons and other active learning opportunities
6. Encouraging participation, teamwork, and confidence through sport
7. Helping with classroom activities when not in PE sessions
8. Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists to provide consistent support
We’re looking for someone who:
9. Has experience working with children or young people (school, coaching, or youth work)
10. Brings energy, positivity, and resilience to the role
11. Has a sporty background – whether that’s PE, coaching, or just a love for being active
12. Is patient, adaptable, and passionate about helping every child succeed
