Viking is a strong and dynamic company with a growing fleet of more than 80 river ships and seven ocean vessels, cruising over 100 itineraries worldwide. Our guests experience comfort and elegance aboard our award-winning fleet, including two expedition ships designed to explore remote destinations. We are expanding our operations to the U.S. with a new Mississippi River ship.
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The successful candidate will ensure guest satisfaction during pre- and post-extensions, manage arrangements and services, coordinate excursions, provide destination information, and organize programs according to Viking Cruises Standards. Participation in official training prior to starting is required.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
General
* Demonstrate leadership and take ownership of the guest group.
* Maintain orderliness, cleanliness, and provide informational materials about the city at the Viking hospitality desk.
* Build good relationships with hotel contacts.
* Suggest restaurants, make reservations, and provide city information and maps.
* Handle guest complaints effectively.
* Exchange information with other departments and vendors.
* Explain vessel inclusion to pre-tour guests and coordinate administrative tasks such as welcome packs and inventory monitoring.
Arrival at hotel
* Coordinate guest arrivals with airport representatives and the Program Director.
* Assist with check-in, baggage, and guest orientation.
Shore Excursions
* Present and sell optional excursions, coordinate bookings, and liaise with local suppliers.
* Brief guides, assist with private excursions, and handle audio equipment as needed.
Departure
* Coordinate departure arrangements, inform guests about procedures, and provide final farewells.
Duties
* Maintain confidentiality of company information and adhere to company policies.
YOUR PROFILE
* Graduated in hotel/tourism industry.
* Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
* Excellent English, other languages are assets.
* Proficient with Office and MXP; good organizational and communication skills.
* Positive, neat, stress-resistant, flexible, and service-oriented.

* Implement SOP policies, maintain appropriate appearance, and comply with grooming standards.
