Hours of Post: 32.5 hours per week, 1.0 FTE
Contract Type: Fixed Term until July 2026 (maternity cover)
Salary Grade: Teachers Main Payscale

St Ambrose Catholic Primary School is seeking to appoint a Class Teacher on a fixed-term basis for one year. This position is suitable for ECTs.
We are looking for a self-motivated teacher to join our successful team and support the school's future vision and development.
Main duties include:
1. Providing high-quality teaching and learning to ensure successful outcomes for all students
2. Maintaining and developing the Catholic ethos of the school
3. Meeting all teachers’ standards
The ideal candidate will:
* Be driven and motivated, inspiring and encouraging pupils
* Have experience and knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
* Be highly motivated, creative, and committed to developing pupil potential and raising achievement
* Have a good understanding of the primary curriculum
* Be open to new ideas and team-oriented
* Respond appropriately to challenging situations
* Uphold strong moral and ethical principles
* Act with integrity
