Our team plays a vital role in schools and colleges, helping children manage mild to moderate difficulties such as anxiety, low mood, stress, and more. Work hours are 09:00–17:00, Monday to Friday, and you'll have the flexibility to choose between full-time and part-time work for the duration of this 3–6 month contract. What you will do: Deliver high-standard mental health care to children and young people referred to our service. Coordinate shifts, screening referrals to determine urgency, whether urgent, crisis, or routine. Communicate effectively with professionals and parents/guardians regarding mental health concerns and risks. Follow the service-wide operational framework and the Thrive Model to identify care needs, signposting, assessment, and discharge stages. Conduct face-to-face urgent and routine assessments, contributing to the daily MDT outcome meeting to determine the most suitable treatment or intervention. Ensure all documentation meets the required standards and timelines as outlined by the service's operational framework. Provide supervision and mentoring to junior colleagues and students, fostering a supportive and collaborative team environment.
