Role
We are recruiting for a new Director, Operational Resilience and Third Party Risk to join our risk management journey at LSEG. The role is responsible for the second line oversight across both Operational Resilience and Third Party risks, helping drive further embedding across the Group as well as delivering continuous improvements to the framework.
Embracing the firm's core values, the role is well-positioned to facilitate building collaborative partnerships across the organization and will work to break down silos or barriers to communication. The team is instrumental in reinforcing the risk culture that underpins how LSEG manages risk.
Key Responsibilities
The role involves defining and supporting the development of the Operational Resilience and Third Party Risk Management Frameworks, and helping embed risk management within the Group. The role requires collaboration with divisional Chief Risk Officers, Business Control Officers, and the Risk Operations team. It also supports specific projects with risk management expertise. Key responsibilities include:
* Define a roadmap to embed and improve second line oversight of Operational Resilience and Third Party Risk Management
* Ownership of related policies
* Review and challenge of operational resilience and third-party risk posture, KRIs, risk events, and issues
* Drive embedding of the Risk Management Framework as part of the wider Risk Culture initiatives
Key Skills
The role requires experience in risk framework/management roles, with experience of multiple risk types considered advantageous. Strong communication skills are essential, including the ability to influence, provide balanced feedback, and produce clear, compelling reports for senior management.
