Job overview
This is an brilliant opportunity for a Receptionist to join a small and friendly team here in our Maxillofacial and Orthodontic department at QMC, on a full time and permanent basis.
As an Outpatient Receptionist, you will often be the first point of contact for the patients and visitors when entering the ward so a friendly, welcoming smile and excellent communication skills are essential.
As a caring and positive person you will need to be able to work as part of an established team, have the ability to work flexibly and be committed to ensuring the smooth running of reception.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an individual who is self motivated, content with working in a busy environment and who has good time management skills.
You must have excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
It is essential that you act professionally at all times, have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritise your own work load.

If you are aged 16 or 17 and applying for a role that is more than 20 hours a week, please be aware that you will be asked to commence an Apprenticeship within the Trust alongside your role, as long as there is a suitable apprenticeship standard available. Salary: The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
