The Role
As General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall running of the pub, including:
* Full P&L responsibility
* Stock control and cellar management
* Delivering exceptional customer service
* Leading, motivating, and developing the team
* Managing rotas (mix of days, evenings & weekends)
* Driving wet sales and maintaining beer quality
* Planning and delivering events
* Upholding licensing, health & safety, and compliance standards
* Community engagement and social media presence
About You
* A craft beer and real ale enthusiast (essential)
* Strong cellar knowledge preferred
* Experience in running events
* Knowledge of setting up and running beer festivals (advantageous)
* A natural people person who thrives in a community environment
* Energetic, hands-on, and commercially aware
* Previous pub management experience preferred
