TP Tutors is looking for dedicated 1:1 SEN Tutors in Rochester to work with pupils who benefit from tailored educational support outside of mainstream classroom environments. Position: 1:1 SEN Tutor Location: Rochester and surrounding areas Contract Type: Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities The Role You will work closely with students who require additional educational support, creating engaging sessions that are designed around their individual strengths, challenges, and goals. Main Duties Deliver personalised tuition sessions on a one-to-one basis Support pupils with a range of additional needs including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and EBSA Modify lesson delivery to suit different learning styles Build positive and supportive relationships with learners Conduct sessions in homes or community-based settings Help students improve confidence, independence, and engagement with learning Candidate Requirements Previous experience supporting SEN learners preferred Background in tutoring, education, youth work, mentoring, or care desirable Strong communication and organisational skills Patient, reliable, and flexible approach Knowledge of safeguarding expectations and procedures Willingness to travel locally throughout Rochester Why Join TP Tutors?
