We are aiming to strengthen our Purchasing team by recruiting an ambitious Purchasing Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to contribute significantly to the development of our purchasing function and to develop a career within a highly stimulating, dynamic and progressive company. Your primary objective will to minimise supply costs whilst maximising supplier performance. This is a cross functional role working, with all departments to achieve overall business objectives. Duties will involve: Placing orders when required. Completing order confirmations Invoice query investigation Back Order management Compiling various reports Ensuring delivery documentation detail is complete .Completion of online Import Documentation via TSS portal Key requirements are strong IT and analytical skills. Transferable work experience and knowledge. 3rd level qualification preferred, but not essential.
