Responsibilities
Provide specialist imaging within one of the following clinical areas, including MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, Cardio‑Vascular, Neuro‑Angiography, and satellite imaging departments.
Justify and perform radiographic examinations, providing direct care and a high‑quality diagnostic service to assist in the management of patients within the directorate of Radiology.
Supervise and act as mentor to junior radiographers to ensure continuity of service.

Working arrangements
As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part‑time hours will be reduced pro‑rata. A corresponding increase in hourly rate will maintain total pay.
Note that the vacancy may be closed early once a sufficient number of applications are received.
Requirements
The post holder must have a PVG Scheme membership/record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (child and/or adult), an application to Disclosure Scotland will be needed and deemed satisfactory before starting.
