Job Title: Joiner Technician
Salary and Benefits:
* Basic salary of £25,888 with an approximate OTE of £30,000
* Company van and fuel card included
* Potential relocation package up to £5,000 for those living more than 2 hours away
Role Overview:
As a Joiner Technician, you'll service customers across the Scottish Central belt. A valid UK driving licence is required. Travel further afield may be necessary depending on workload.
Responsibilities:
* Strip and replace timber floors, renew door frames, architraves, and window sills
* Splice roof timbers and perform timber resin repairs
* Remove and replace plaster, timber wall framing, and install damp proof courses and membranes
* Renew timber lintels and brick back-up
* Conduct timber treatments and remedial repairs for dry and wet rot
* Perform condensation treatments, including loft insulation and wall coatings
* Patch plastering and basement waterproofing
* Structural repairs such as wall tie installation and crack-stitching
Requirements:
* Apprenticeship background with City and Guilds or NVQ qualifications
* Experience as a Joiner, Carpenter, or Preservation Technician
* Full UK Manual Driving Licence for at least 2 years with no more than 6 penalty points
* Proactive attitude, initiative, and excellent communication skills
* Enthusiastic and friendly approach to customer service
