We are currently seeking a Specialist Homelessness Coordinator to play a vital role in our Homelessness Service in London.
Your Role: What Will You Be Doing?
This service operates on a payment-by-results initiative, focusing on achieving specific outcomes for a caseload of single homeless refugees. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing holistic support to formulate and execute integration plans.
* Securing and sustaining accommodation in the private rented sector.
* Promoting integration into the community.

Key Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* A strong understanding of housing and homelessness legislation, including the Homelessness Reduction Act.
* Knowledge of private rented sector regulations, eviction processes, and tenants' rights.
* Experience with welfare benefits legislation and health and safety requirements.
* The ability to design effective interventions that support clients in securing or sustaining accommodation.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
* A proactive attitude and excellent organizational skills.
* Confidence in using databases and IT systems for accurate record-keeping.
* A flexible, socially conscious approach to teamwork.
