Your newpany
Hays are recruiting for a small charity based in Nottinghamshire for a Housing Support Worker on a temporary ongoing basis.
Working hours can be flexible, but the client can offer up to 20 hours per week (ideally working Monday and Friday, but this may be negotiable).
Areas will cover: Sutton in Ashfield, Huthwaite, Hucknall, Aspley and Netherfield, so the successful candidate must be able to drive and have business insurance.
Your new role
The role will include having a caseload of customers and providing them with housing advice and support, ensuring they are following support plans, liaising with other services and bodies and signposting to applicable services. You must have a sound knowledge of housing and tenancy-related issues, as well as be able to confidently build rapport and relationships.
What you'll need to succeed
Due to the nature of the role, candidates must have a proven background in providing housing advice to vulnerable customers and, so, a clear DBS is required (Hays can put one through)
What you'll get in return
In return, you will get a flexible ongoing temporary contract of up to 20 hours each week.
