A highly motivated electrical service engineer is required for our award-winning Sunday Times Fast Track 100 business engineering client near Aylesbury, with easy commute from Oxford. The role offers an excellent salary circa £35k-£40k+ depending on experience, plus benefits including annual bonus, generous holiday, healthcare, and a pension scheme.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Good electrical engineering experience, including interpreting hydraulic diagrams, engineering drawings, and electrical diagrams.
* Engineering qualifications in maintenance, service, electrical, or electro-mechanical fields (Level 2 or Level 3 preferred).
* Service experience with large vehicles, heavy plant machinery, engines, generators, or similar equipment.
* Experience in electrical maintenance, installation, and repair of plant equipment is desirable but can be developed if other skills are evident.
* For ex-military personnel such as REME technicians or RE plant operators, relevant service and maintenance experience is of interest.
The role involves installation, maintenance, repair, and servicing of plant equipment and safety/control systems, as well as preparing vehicles for sale, exhibitions, and fleet management, requiring excellent attention to detail.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Diagnosing, inspecting, testing, and repairing electrical machinery at the depot.
2. Installing safety control systems and control panels.
3. Preparing vehicles and plant machinery for sale, exhibitions, and fleet use.
