Our client is one of the top 5 accountancy firms in the UK. They are seeking an Onboarding Coordinator to support the HR Services team with all onboarding activities.
The role is part of a newly created Onboarding Team within the wider HR Shared Services function. The purpose of this role is to provide administrative support for the new joiners process, ensuring smooth and efficient operations with a focus on a positive end-to-end candidate experience.
Core duties include:
1. Working closely with the Resourcing Team and HR Shared Services to support the onboarding process.
2. Building positive relationships with candidates and stakeholders.
3. Issuing offers and employment contracts within SLA using HRIS Workday.
4. Supporting the onboarding of overseas candidates with the Global Mobility team.
5. Sending relevant new joiner information to candidates and People Managers promptly.
6. Conducting pre-employment checks, including right to work and references.
7. Liaising with the business support team for IT equipment provisioning.
8. Updating Workday and trackers with accurate data.
9. Engaging with stakeholders across the firm.
10. Becoming a subject matter expert in onboarding processes.
11. Ensuring quality, effectiveness, and continuous improvement of HR Shared Services.
12. Supporting wider HR projects and initiatives.
Ideal candidates will have:
* Experience in a similar role, preferably within a large professional services environment.
* A/AS level education or equivalent.
* Proven experience in a fast-paced administrative role.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Customer-oriented approach, capable of working within SLAs.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Understanding of confidentiality and GDPR regulations.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Strong commitment to task completion.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, valuing diversity.
