American Express entered the travel business in 1915 and today is one of the world’s largest luxury travel and lifestyle service networks. As a leader within the travel industry, we have a unique opportunity to create hyper-relevant customer experiences for premium cardmembers as they research, shop and book travel, by leveraging customer data and insights.

How will you make an impact in this role?
The Senior Manager, International Onsite Marketing and Customer Journeys is an exciting opportunity to define Amex Travel’s international marketing strategy for digital point of sale channels across 15 markets. The role will be responsible for marketing and optimising the E2E onsite experience whilst also driving cardmember traffic and bookings to our international sites via SEO. This customer-first, digital obsessed marketer will own the marketing on the homepage as well as will build marketing landing page experiences that create cohesive journeys for customers depending on their needs and behaviours. Additionally, this role will collaborate with the Digital Customer Experience (DCX) team on website enhancements and capabilities to elevate the user experience. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in digital marketing and technical integrations. As the marketing SME for international Amex Travel Online, this role will represent international requirements in enterprise initiatives and uplifts to the site experience.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead TLS Marketing’s International digital strategy and international marketing relationship with the Digital Customer Experience (DCX) team to uplift the onsite customer experience and drive engagement with Amex Travel across 15 international sites
* Own Homepage marketing/benefit merchandising and develop marketing landing pages to enhance the customer journey, providing awareness of Amex Travel benefits and offers
* Thought leadership on a globally aligned site strategy to build personalization framework across international sites, creating more relevant and efficient experiences for cardmembers
* Develop inspirational content for key international markets and collaborate with stakeholders to define global content strategy for Amex Travel Online
* Build and deliver a high-performing SEO strategy
* Own and execute strategy for American Express Travel placements on digital proprietary channels
* Collaborate with key stakeholders
* Manage 1 Direct Report

Minimum Qualifications:

* Significant marketing experience
* Digital product experience preferred
* Analytical thinker and data-driven; comfortable interpreting data to build plans and strategies
* Enthusiastic individual with a track record of delivering strong results and customer-first strategies and treatments
* Curious mind keen to roll up sleeves and understand how products are built, and how to design personalization strategies from the ground up
* Excellent communicator (including diverse markets and tech partners) with outstanding ability to build strong relationships, seamlessly collaborate and influence cross functional business partners
* Strong project management skills with ability to mobilize and organize across multiple stakeholders and projects, including external agency relationships
* Dedicated team-player with a passion for innovation and a demonstrated ability to evolve in a changing environment
* International mindset with experience working across multiple markets
* University degree or equivalent relevant experience
* JIRA, OneCMS experience beneficial
