Summary
As a Domestic Abuse Support Accommodation professional at Threshold DAS, you will play a vital role in offering safe and supportive housing solutions for individuals escaping domestic violence. This position is crucial in helping clients navigate their journey towards recovery and empowerment.
Responsibilities
* Provide safe accommodation for individuals fleeing domestic abuse situations.
* Assist clients in accessing necessary resources and support services.
* Create a welcoming and supportive environment that fosters healing and recovery.
* Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
* Facilitate workshops or support groups aimed at empowering residents.
* Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress.
Requirements
* Experience working with women experiencing Domestic Abuse.
* Experience working with children is preferred but not essential.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to empathise with clients.
* Knowledge of domestic abuse issues and available resources.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
