Technology Lead - JP Morgan - Bournemouth - ONSITE
We are seeking a Technology Lead to join J.P. Morgan's Mainframe & Midrange Compute team in Bournemouth on a permanent basis via the Robert Walters Consultancy. Financial services experience and a strong business mindset are preferred. Knowledge of enterprise computing platforms is an advantage, though full training can be provided.
The role
The Mainframe & Midrange Compute (MMC) team at JPMorgan Chase, plays a vital role in supporting the backbone of our global technology infrastructure. Our platforms-including Mainframe, NonStop, IBMi, and VSI Power-are essential to delivering reliable services to customers, clients, and businesses worldwide.
As part of the MMC Supply Chain Engineering team, you'll be a key contributor to the tools and processes that empower our engineering teams. You'll help ensure our technology environments run smoothly, securely, and efficiently.
You'll work alongside motivated colleagues to set functional goals and priorities that align with our overall strategy. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing inventory and product lifecycles, ensuring our technology assets are optimized and up-to-date
Overseeing vendor relationships and supporting hardware/software asset management
Supporting risk management and compliance through high-quality data and process expertise
Identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation
This role offers exposure to a wide range of technologies and products, giving you the chance to broaden your technical understanding and contribute to continuous improvement across MMC.
