My client, A leading surfacing and resurfacing company, is looking for an Key Account Manager to join their growing commercial team. About the Company With over 250 employees and the backing of a major international support, my client delivers bespoke surfacing solutions across multiple sectors including: Highways & Rail Aviation & Defense Education, Healthcare & Leisure Local Authority & Commercial The Role This is a hybrid position based out of the Derby office, with national travel to meet clients and visit sites. You’ll play a key role in both growing and retaining business by: Managing and developing a portfolio of ~100 accounts. Re-engaging dormant accounts and driving new business. Building strong client relationships and becoming the “go-to” person for surfacing solutions. Delivering against KPIs: 15 new enquiries/projects per month. Working closely with the Regional Sales Manager to help shape a high-performing sales team. What We’re Looking For We want a genuine sales professional, someone ambitious, resilient, and hungry to make an impact. You’ll bring: Proven experience in B2B sales (construction or related sector preferred). Strong account management and new business skills. Confidence in handling the full sales cycle, from initial approach to negotiation and close. Drive, resilience, and the ability to “roll up your sleeves” and get stuck in.
