About the role

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of vulnerable adults through effective financial support?

We are seeking a dedicated Team Leader to manage the day-to-day operational delivery of the services of the Financial Assessment and Welfare Benefits Team, ensuring compliance with the Care Act 2014, Care and Support Statutory Guidance.

In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the Financial Support Service Manager and jointly with your co-team leader to lead a committed group of professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred financial support.

This is an exciting time to join the team, following a recent restructure to expand the team and service and this vacancy has arisen due to the retirement of the current post holder.

Knowledge of Adult Social Care financial assessment in compliance with the Care and Support (Charging and Assessment of Resources) Regulations 2014 and a string knowledge base of welfare benefits is essential.

We are looking to appoint a highly organised, self-motivated and diligent individual with a strong background in adult social care financial assessment, who embraces the opportunity to enhance service delivery.

Normal hours of work are 37 hours per week based around the usual business working week. Flexitime scheme and agile working is in operation, and you will be expected to work at least 2 days per week in the office, based at 6 Knowsley Place.
