The successful Land Buyer will play a key role in identifying, assessing, and acquiring land opportunities to support the company's ongoing growth and expansion.

The Role
 As a Land Buyer, you'll be responsible for sourcing and securing new residential development opportunities across West Yorkshire and surrounding areas. Working closely with the Land and Planning teams, you'll manage the full acquisition process from initial appraisal through to offer, and purchase ensuring all sites meet financial and planning objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and evaluate land opportunities for residential development
Conduct detailed financial appraisals and viability assessments
Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners, agents, and local authorities
Negotiate land acquisitions and manage transactions to completion
Prepare reports and recommendations for land purchase approval
Work closely with internal planning, technical, and commercial teams to support successful bids
Stay informed on local planning policy and housing market trends
About You
 We're seeking a driven and commercially minded Land Buyer with a strong understanding of the UK residential development market. You'll be confident working independently, with excellent communication and negotiation skills and a proactive approach to securing opportunities.
Requirements:
Experience in land buying, land agency, or property development
Strong knowledge of the planning and development process
Ability to assess site feasibility and financial viability
Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Highly organised with strong analytical and problem solving ability
Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel regionally
