To provide a modern Café Bar concept catering service to staff, visitors and patients using the facilities whilst maintaining high standards of Food Safety & Food Hygiene at all times.
The environment in which the meals are served should be clean, tidy, pleasant and relaxing at all times.
Users of the service should receive a high level of Customer Service, fast, friendly and efficient delivered by staff with a high standard of personal presentation.
Main duties of the job
1. Cleaning of working areas, ancillary areas and equipment, set cleaning schedules and frequencies
2. Preparation of certain food products for the Café Bar.
3. Service of food.
4. Clearing and cleaning of table and removal of crockery to the dishwashing area.
5. Washing up responsibilities and correct use of detergents.
6. Comply with departmental working instructions at all times.
7. Comply with Food Hygiene Codes of Practice, Health and Safety at Work, COSSH, HACCP, and other Trust policies and procedures.
8. Must project a friendly, helpful, courteous and professional image at all times when in contact with other hospital staff, visitors and patients.
