We are seeking a motivated and experienced Site Engineer for a very successful civil engineering company, to support the delivery of a significant infrastructure project in Blackburn involving 278 works, roundabout relocation, carriageway widening, and compound entrance construction.
Key Responsibilities
* Set out works in accordance with drawings and specifications.
* Ensure construction activities are delivered accurately and to required tolerances.
* Produce and maintain quality assurance records and inspection documentation.
* Conduct site surveys and maintain as-built records.
* Assist with planning and sequencing of works.
* Support subcontractor management and technical queries.
* Monitor progress against programme requirements.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures.
Requirements
* Degree, HNC, or HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
* Previous experience working on highways projects.
* Competent in setting out using GPS and total station equipment.
* Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
* CSCS card.
* Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
* Experience with road widening, drainage, earthworks, and junction improvements.
* Knowledge of AutoCAD and surveying software.
