This is an excellent opportunity to join an international defence aerospace company, working on cutting edge products within their manufacturing division.
The role:
* Working on product performance and process
* Reporting and analysis tasks
* Tech support for customers
* Support innovation for engineering tasks
* Perform root cause and corrective action as required
* Support Manufacturing cells and engineering tasks as required
* Participate in Design for Manufacturability (DFM), NPI and Manufacturing Process tasks.
Your Skills / Experience:
* Minimum HND or degree in a related subject e.g. STEM, Production or Manufacturing Engineering
* Proven experience working in mid-senior level role in manufacturing, with knowledge/experience of electronics Manufacturing
* Worked with/on electronics products down to component level
* Process improvement/efficiency/lean manufacturing
* Experience of process FMEA, Control Plan, Process flow development, review and risk mitigation processes
* Experience of various Manufacturing platforms
* Technical presentation and communication skills
* Ideally have worked for an Engineering, Manufacturing or Defence company.
Desirable:
* Manufacturing methodologies, such as Design for Manufacturability (DFM)
* Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI)
