Fire Risk Assessor required to join a renowned global multidisciplinary firm to support projects across various sectors in the local area.
The Fire Risk Assessor
The Fire Risk Assessor will conduct fire risk assessments (Type 1 & 3) for residential, healthcare, custodial, education, and commercial properties.
FRA Responsibilities:
1. Undertake fire integrity and compartmentation surveys to identify breaches, and propose remedial repairs, including preparation of specifications and designs.
2. Provide quality and technical monitoring on construction projects.
3. Act as a fire safety advisor to assist clients with their property portfolios.
4. Possess good knowledge of Approved Document B, Health Technical Memorandum 05-02, Building Bulletins, and relevant British Standards.
5. Review contractors' proposals and comment on their suitability for the intended purpose.
6. Assist with project delivery.
7. Maintain high levels of communication and punctuality throughout projects.
Fire Risk Assessor Qualifications and Experience
* Minimum Level 3 Fire Safety Qualification.
* Experience in undertaking or reviewing Fire Risk Assessments.
* Knowledge of current and upcoming UK fire safety legislation.
